肥媽新州腌青辣椒 Feima Singapore Style Pickled Green Chilli with Indo Mee! #1S

I'm feeling like a child waiting to open my Chritmas gift, the suspense of the end result is killing me!

The very 1st batch of 肥媽新州腌青辣椒 Feima Singapore Style Pickled Green Chili is ready for consumption after 2 days! I finally get to taste them and the most convenient is Indo Mee! So I cooked the noodles and poached a perfect over-easy egg (you can find the videos on youtube, ain't that hard + healthier + no oil & pan to clean.), the flavour enhances even further when the runny yolk coats each strand of the #noodles. My type of comfort food.


                                Spiciness Level: 1 (Super Mild)

Alright, here's the moment for me to taste the pickled chili. 

Opening Ceremony

- Looking at the colors, it has gone darker but still vibrant. (Awesome!)

- A scent of chili and light vinegar combined aroma breezes through my nose. (The longer you soak, the strong the smell will get.) 

- The texture was firm when I took some ring of chili out from the bottle with a pair of clean & dried chopsticks. (That's the texture, it is important to ensure the tool you use are cleaned & dried as moisture causes mould)

- The chili are well pickled with a great level of sourness and very mild level of heat that don't choke anyone. (Great! I'm ready to try it with my #mee though I'll prefer it spicier and soak in vinegar longer.  It just taste better for me)

It adds a subtle tangy flavor to the noodles, compliments the already tasty noodles. I'll love them spicier but still a lovely meal for me.
