肥媽新州腌青辣椒 Feima Singapore Style Pickled Green Chilli with Indo Mee! #1S

I'm feeling like a child waiting to open my Chritmas gift, the suspense of the end result is killing me!

The very 1st batch of 肥媽新州腌青辣椒 Feima Singapore Style Pickled Green Chili is ready for consumption after 2 days! I finally get to taste them and the most convenient is Indo Mee! So I cooked the noodles and poached a perfect over-easy egg (you can find the videos on youtube, ain't that hard + healthier + no oil & pan to clean.), the flavour enhances even further when the runny yolk coats each strand of the #noodles. My type of comfort food.


                                Spiciness Level: 1 (Super Mild)

Alright, here's the moment for me to taste the pickled chili. 

Opening Ceremony

- Looking at the colors, it has gone darker but still vibrant. (Awesome!)

- A scent of chili and light vinegar combined aroma breezes through my nose. (The longer you soak, the strong the smell will get.) 

- The texture was firm when I took some ring of chili out from the bottle with a pair of clean & dried chopsticks. (That's the texture, it is important to ensure the tool you use are cleaned & dried as moisture causes mould)

- The chili are well pickled with a great level of sourness and very mild level of heat that don't choke anyone. (Great! I'm ready to try it with my #mee though I'll prefer it spicier and soak in vinegar longer.  It just taste better for me)

It adds a subtle tangy flavor to the noodles, compliments the already tasty noodles. I'll love them spicier but still a lovely meal for me.

肥媽 Feima Gourmet Bringing 'Taste of Home' Everywhere!

JT Marketing is proud to present '肥媽' Feima Gourmet's Chilli specialises in online order only, fresh home-made Singapore chili sauces in Singapore and Hong Kong.  Continuing mom's legacy, 2 brothers and a sister all with initials 'JT' we decided to create JT Marketing and promote our first line of chili sauce calling it '肥媽' Feima Gourmet.

We create & deliver our mom's delicious self made recipe through a series in chili sauces. Offering fresh authentic Singapore chili sauce online. Focusing on fresh ingredients only, our sauces will not contain preservatives, food or color enhancers or any artificial additives. 

To start off, we will be focusing on '肥媽' Feima chicken rice chili amongst my peers in Hong Kong and Singapore.  Having to live overseas for past 12 years, sister JT brings home mom's home made chip sauce whenever she visits Hong Kong.  Mom's chili sauce is my daily staple and she eats everything with them.  At private gatherings and dinner, JT will share the sauces amongst the table and it enhances the meal further with the spice.  Delicious is the word coming from their mouth and has been giving some away to friends for their pleasure.

Being in places with limited chili sauces options, Sister JT tried also 'off the shelf' chilli sauces but non to her satisfaction.  That's when Sister JT brought up this idea to the Brother JT and that's how the idea came about.  

We will be marketing this produce in both Singapore and Hong Kong where the sauces can be made freshly with the consistency of our recipes and sold through online at the moment.  However, tastes might vary.  Our plans don't stop here, more lines of local chili sauces will be launch once Chicken Rice Chili proves to be a success.

We are not seeking instant success but to nurture and bring back ‘Taste of Home’ of family-run specialized business to share our love for mom's food to everyone. To add spices to the chili, we will be posting recipes and what else can you eat this versatile chili with to enhance you meal.
